Re: First post be gentle :)
No need to remove them. By my calculations, all those WU's should finish before their deadlines as long as you run 24x7. The CPU will work on one at a time till they are all gone then the client will get a new WU that will work much better.

Re: First post be gentle :)
Earlier, did you configure your CPU into a whole bunch of slots (one per core?), then removed all but one slot? It is the only explanation that I can think of that would produce 5 uni-processor WU's just sitting in the work queue waiting for the CPU to get to them. The CPU slot will not produce much...

Re: New to folding , Points/ work type question
I'd say, if the core was actually DL'ed and is defective, then what is needed is to stop the client and delete the core

Re: New to folding , Points/ work type question
Try pausing the slot and then unpause it. since the Core_18's are no longer being assigned it should fix the issue. It should also fix itself if you leave it alone but that may take a while.

Re: My PPDs seem a bit low. Is my configuration sub-optimal?
Add a Passkey ! No passkey means no quick return bonus points (QRB)and the vast majority of the points most people get come from the QRB rather than base points. Note that QRB points will not happen immediately upon getting a passkey for it needs to be qualified by completing 10 QRB WU's and maintai...

Re: Finally got around to pricing new system! cpu and gpu he
The 7.4.4 client is a much better PPD/TPF estimator than earlier clients. That being said, it will still take 3%-5% before a reasonably accurate estimate.

Re: Some Fermi projects not yet re-benchmarked
All I can say is that getting specific projects seem to come in streaks. You are in the same boat as everyone else with similar HW and client-type. If necessary, you can change the set of projects you pull from by changing the client-type to something different like from general release (no client-t...

Re: New to folding , Points/ work type question
Yes, do note the error check box...
The risk for OC'ing is when you start getting Core_17 WU's which detects many more calculation errors. The log you showed were just of Core_15's. So keep monitoring for those errors.

Re: New to folding , Points/ work type question
Those older Core_15 WU's do not give QRB points. Only newer Core_17 projects get them. However, you have little control over the WU's you get assigned. Once you start getting Core_17's then your passkey will start being qualified. You need to get 10 of them qualify your passkey and maintain an 80% s...

Bad platformID size is an error associated with having video drivers that do not support OpenCL fully.

Re: Constant WU Failures on Both GPUs
It would be nice if you reverted the verbosity setting back to the default of 3. It makes it much easier to read the logs.
