Re: Nvidia 550.120 Linux Driver
Thanks for the response, calxalot. I have looked at the glibc requirements as the GPU log shows some Fahcore returned: Failed_2... errors.

Re: F@H Client V7.6 GPU Frying
A discord was created during COVID, many people go there now instead of here on the forum. Best I can say about your problem using the info you have split up over multiple topics, is that a number of people have reported various problems using the most recent Nvidia drivers on older Ubuntu versions...

Re: Nvidia 550.120 Linux Driver
Obviously that was the first move I made and as suspected everything was already in order. My research and questioning lies more in newer GPU cores e.g.; 0x24 and their compatibility with older GPUs and Nvidia's latest Linux drivers, not dust bunnies...

Re: F@H Client V7.6 GPU Frying
Because the forum is dead and I'm trying to get any info possible,,, Pretty sure, after almost 20 years folding , that F@H and all distributed computing projects are their last legs. $$$$
Take a look at the posting frequency,,,at least I got some response.

F@H Client V7.6 GPU Frying
Never happened before in years of folding, however after reinstalling the kernel and installing a downgraded nvidia driver having though 550.120 was a bad Linux driver, I'm still experiencing insane GPU temps almost instantly after starting the client. When F@H isn't running the GPU stays stable wit...

Nvidia Linux Driver 550.120 Reinstall Issues
Ubuntu 18.04, 4.15.0-213-generic #224-Ubuntu SMP, Z97 MB. After installing the 550.120.run file, my RTX3070 and older GTX960 both go to 100% load and 100% fan speed and instantly overheat to 90C+ as soon as my F@H client starts. I've tried downgrading the driver by booting Ubuntu in recovery mode an...

Re: Download Bug Happening Again (*.220)
I have had this problem many times over the past year and after trying the 'restart client' approach I ultimately end up restarting my rework to resolve the issue. These are Win7 and Win10 Pro machines. Recently I've started using the Linux client with Mint 19.3 more and more. There are far fewer, i...
