I noticed these on the projects summary page today... hoping 202 day deadlines are a typo. You'll die of old age before these finish!

Don't worry, they'll fold a lot faster than that

Yes, of course; a reliable machine will finish these in a week, but every lost WU sets the researcher back 7 months. This seems excessive.

I agree with Foxery. When FAH says its WUs are time critical (and I'm not contesting the claim), the deadlines must reflect the urgency. Else, what's wrong in queuing up 5 WUs and submitting all 5 after a month?

Yes you're right, I also find it a bit strange ... I've asked for more details about these WUs, I'll post again as soon as I get them

I do Hence, my concern about the rather long deadlines. I hope this does not encourage people to start queueing up work.7im wrote:Anand, you already know the answer to that one.anandhanju wrote:I agree with Foxery. Re: p2493, p2495 - extreme deadlines?
Thank you guys. I made a mistake in those numbers (but not on the credits gladly). I do need the results asap, and yes, it will hurt if people start queuing.anandhanju wrote:I do Hence, my concern about the rather long deadlines.
