My WiFi connection likes to quietly drop out once or twice a week, needing manual rebooting.
If folding at home tries to upload during that time, the file is lost to infinite connection failures. If the Wi-Fi network goes back up it just never connects again. If the Wi-Fi network is swapped for a tethered hotspot, It just never connects.
If the uploading is paused and the computer is rebooted, it restarts from scratch.
This problem began with the 8.0 beta and hasn't improved yet. But now we've got 650,000 credit GPU tasks and it's such a waste to start those from scratch. Is all this a known issue?

On top of trying latest alpha, which fixes a lot of issues and add loads of features, it would be wise to sort out your network issues and OS itself, to find out why your wi fi is dropping out and requires a reboot
