1. Doesn't log any downloads or uploads. No %.
2. Can't stop getting work when done. If your in settings to disable a GPU it just pauses that work. Which should be "No more work when done" when you disable it.
3. Can't tell what GPU is for what project is running. The "i" in the main web control for each project doesn't tell you either, just what device it is. In the main web control should tell you what GPU this project is running now. Shouldn't have to go third party app to find out.
5. No option to cancel work if it's seems to not run right.
6. 'No recourses available" make no since why it's there. Logs tell you nothing on what it means.
7. Protein view doesn't cycle through frame or goes to the next project like 5 minutes in between.
8. No expert option like in v7. Would like to download a bit sooner when work is finished. Since my download speed is slow.
9. There no FAQ on v8.

0: re-read the user guide
https://foldingathome.org/v8-3-client-guide/
1 and 10: up/download progress is currently only supported on linux
https://github.com/FoldingAtHome/fah-cl ... issues/130
2: set to finish: click Pause > click Finish
3 (and 2): Click lock in lower right to access advanced settings.
Create a separate resource group for each gpu. Set cpus 0 in such groups.
Account for gpu usage when allocating cpus in your cpu group (don't over allocate cpus).
5: pause a WU and you can dump it
6: resources unavailable means there are not enough resources allocated to a group to run a particular WU
7: new frames are generated infrequently. If you don't agree with the cycling, create a GitHub issue:
https://github.com/FoldingAtHome/fah-we ... tet/issues
8: look through existing issues. If what you need is not there, create a new issue
https://github.com/FoldingAtHome/fah-we ... tet/issues
9: no, there is no FAQ, yet. Search this forum, and check GitHub discussions

Re: v8 feels like a downgrade
I pretty much agree with Sandman192's observations, and I appreciate calxalot's pointers, but I went back to 7.x on my laptop. I do understand it's a beta.
