8.3.5 on Ubuntu doesn't get work

Since installing 8.3.5 my rigs spend more time idling waiting for WUs than actually folding.

Should I go back to v7? Or is this something else?

Edit: By the way, whenever something is downloading (core, WUs) , download speeds range from 2kbps to 25kbps...

Try changing the number of CPUs from 30 to 27 .... 30 = 2 x 3 x 5 (5 can be a problem) and 27 = 3 x 3 x 3 which should work better ..... you may still have trouble getting work on your CPU as there may not be any work available for that many CPUs. There is, however, work for your GPUs .... not sure what your problem is there but I can tell you that I use 8.3.5 on 8 different setups with GPUs from a 1060 to a 4070ti and am not seeing any problem getting work.
