If there is an identifiable cause for the disease that is connected to protein misfolding, possibly. Or it might be useful if there are known receptors for drugs that are effective in treating the disease in finding additional drugs. Both would depend on some researcher connected with the F@h project having an interest in researching kidney disease and its treatment.
