This is a fresh Windows 10 x64 install. I'm still installing all my apps, so no idea if it's as simple as a missing dll. I have the latest NVidia drivers, downloaded this morning.
It was core 22 version 0.0.14 which threw a dll error on some systems, you're failing to download 0.0.13.
I had a quick look for other instances of the same issue, they all seemed to suggest some kind of networking problem with the firewall (maybe deep packet inspection) or ethernet cable.
Check for yourself - https://foldingforum.org/search.php?key ... age+header
You did add the FAH working folder to your anti-virus exceptions list?
My lazy suggestion which doesn't really solve the problem but works around it, you have other Windows installs, just copy the "cores" folder across from one of them.
I added it to the av/firewall exceptions. Sadly, this is a reinstall on the only PC I have running right now (will be setting up a second this weekend)
https://www.isitdownrightnow.com/cores. ... e.org.html says they are getting a 404 error from the server, so the server may be having problems until the labs open for the day.
The cores download server seems fine, I just copied the "http" link from your logs, pasted it into my web browser address bar, hit go and downloaded the core, all 77.6MB of it.
Can you try that on one of your non-folding machines.
I'm a bit dubious of the link that "isitdownrightnow" is using.
The link it's testing appear to start "cores.foldingathome.org/v7", without subfolder it just takes you to the folding at home homepage.
The "v7" subfolder appears to be deprecated on the current cores server in favour of "win" and "lin", which return a 403 forbidden error (the folder was found but you cannot read it). https://cores.foldingathome.org/lin/ https://cores.foldingathome.org/win/
Same path, can you download it on your folding machine using the browser.
I'm just trying to confirm whether it's a problem specific to your folding machine.
So far we've ruled out the cores server, the internet, your router and the machine you downloaded the core onto.

I've never seen this error, but I assume there is an issue at the server side, although I was able to download the core in the browser just fine.
Note: the "No route to host" error at 14:37:43 is not relevant since i hadn't had the ethernet cable plugged in at that moment.

I'm just trying to confirm whether it's a problem specific to your folding machine.
So far we've ruled out the cores server, the internet, your router and the machine you downloaded the core onto.
So does that mean I download it to C:\ProgramData\FAHClient\win\64bit\22-0.0.13\Core_22.fah ?

Cheers,

It's the first time I've come across the error as well. I would have saved the cores before reinstalling it if I had the foresight to expect it

I was able to copy the unpacked core files from another machine (which is behind the same router) and get it running, but just putting it out there that this isn't specific to 22-0.0.13
and there was me trying to help diagnose a problem on the folding machine when it was the core download server that had the issue. At least it's sorted now.
