I had to reinstall the client and FAHControl. I made a mistake entering the team number, and that resulted in work units and points going to the Default team. I figured out what I did wrong and corrected the team number.
Is there a way to recover the work units/points to my actual team?
Thanks.

Hi, not speaking in an official role, but no, this has never been something that is supported. Same as if you move team. Points awarded cannot be altered.

I too, am just a user. If there was a way to alter points, all your points would now be in some hacker's profile and you would have none. That would be bad.

HaloJones and JimboPalmer are correct, points once recorded for a specific user, team and passkey are almost never altered. About the only exception has been to zero out points for a few violators of F@h terms of use in the past. In one case this was a person or group who distributed the client installer preconfigured for themselves along with other software, or installed it on computers they did not own.
The only visible change that can be made is when a team renames itself. As the WUs are recorded based on the team number, what is recorded in the database does not change. Just what team name will be displayed changes.
And yes, I have made this mistake myself. Managed to change the team number entered into one of my client machines so that it was off by one, did not notice it for a few months.
