Signature Randomly Missing from Post/Replies

So I have noticed an odd behavior that I can't wrap my head around and it's that my signature is randomly missing on various post and replies. After looking through the post/replies from other users, I have seen the same behavior for all of them.

For me, sometimes my sig shows up just fine when first making the post/reply but occasionally I have to edit the post and then it will show up, however, usually if it doesn't show the first time it doesn't show up regardless of edits. What is most interesting to me at least is that it always shows up in the "Preview" window before posting and also for subsequent edits. I have had my signature missing from plain-text post, post with quotes, and post with code, but have also had it work just fine with any of those 3 items. I have seen it work on the first reply, not work for the following 2, and then work again on the 4th reply. It is perplexing to say the least.

I don't believe it is an issue with what I have in my signature as I have seen this happen with other users who have any single or combination of the following items in their signature:

• plain, unformatted text
• links that point within the forum
• links that point outside of the forum
• images such as the EOC stats

I haven't been able to find anyone else talking about this issue so does my searching just sucks or am I the first to bring it up?

Signatures only appear once per page as a space saving feature. If I was to post again on this page my signature would be missing.

As kiore says, once per page of posts on a topic. It was announced in a very old post, I don't think I could find it quickly if I was looking. So no wonder you didn't.
