Not for P762x with my GTX460 but with GTX680 and P8018-8020 I tried some configuration changes to increase PPD.
PCIe 2.0 or 3.0 => no diffenence in PPD
higher memory clock => no difference in PPD
higher shader clock => almost linear increase in PPD
new nVidia driver (304.79 beta instead of 301.42 WHQL) small but remarkable increase of some hundred points in PPD
