This particular server seems low on work (only ~160 WU to go) ... but you should be assigned to another server after a few attempts ... don't hesitate to restart your client if it's stuck to this server, it sometimes helps too.

Have 7 gpu's on 4 different rigs all trying the same server,
restarted all clients and they go straight back to that server again ?

Restart clients does NOT guarantee that you will get WU...... Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

Standford should find a way to work around on this issue. It is big WASTE of resources for both (contributors and SF).
I currently have 4 GPU clients waiting for WU. This issue has happened for last few days already.

I don't know why the AS doesn't send clients to other servers

Hi,

Just thought I would mention that this appears to have started approx 0900 UTC.

The error is variously failure to download from the above server or that there was no appropriate server available.

Rather interestingly if you try to access port 80 or 8080 in firefox I get a download popup and no "OK". Have there been some changes made?

Same issue here.
No work since around 0900.
Get same OK when checking the server
Server is up and has WU available according to server stats page but seems to be under a bit of stress

The message can be displayed by either IE or FF but apparently FF checks an attribute that isn't checked by IE. If you download the file and display it, it does contain the expected "OK" message.

I hope that the file attribute on the servers will be modified to fix this "problem" but I believe that when you get the response that FF wants to download a file, you can assume it is the OK message. If the server cannot be contacted, FF is much clearer than IE.
