Hate to double post but I just tried xx.56 (via browser) and did NOT receive an "OK".

Darn!

Since the latest fixes on the server, you should not get OK anymore, but it should ask for a download instead (they changed the stream type from text to binary).

I checked just before I posted, and I still get a return of OK here.

Tried this on named server and it gave me an OK

Tried it on another and got the same result.

Tried it on this one: 171.64.65.106 (GPU vspg4v2) and that one gave me the 'download' window ...
I guess it 's only been implemented on the GPU servers (for now)/ correction: it is a rarity and right now an oddity (see later attempts)

Although, 171.64.65.20 still replies with OK (and that too is a GPU server)

171.64.65.103 does the download thingy, but its colleagues 171.64.65.102 and 171.64.65.96 just reply with OK (still) :?:

The download window in place of the OK screen is a minor issue that will be fixed one of these days. The file being downloaded contains the "OK" message but the server gives it the wrong attributes so FF won't display it without downloading it first. If you use IE, the OK will display, which is probably why the bug wasn't fixed earlier.

If you are checking on the EOC site, it may take more than 3 hours to post your point return for a completed project, because the data has to go first to the stats server and then from the stats server to the EOC server.

However, I think the server may indeed have an issue - was the problem WU a p6701 or p6702 unit? Are you missing any units completed yesterday that came from this server? Another donor reported a similar issue via email. Please post (or PM to me in either French or English) a copy of your queue and/or a FAHlog.txt excerpt showing the successful completion of the unit and its project/run/clone/generation numbers so that I can look it up in the WU database. Thanks!

I am missing two p6701's from this server.
The first completed at around 500U (14+ hours ago) and the other at 1100U (8+ hours ago).
The one before these two (a p6702) was completed (and credited correctly) at 1940U on July 19th.
The one before (a p6701) was completed (and credited correctly) at 1128U on July 19th.

Please dont give me another reason to dislike 6701/02 WUs

I have had a similar issue with an update to that server not posting points.... Project 6701 (R71, C1, G21).... I have had this happen several times, but this is the latest (and the only one I can post an audit trail on.) I hope the WU update did not go to the great bit bucket.....

There was a problem with the server that resulted in
1) strange serverstat messages
2) failure for credits to register in the stats system, though they were recorded

fixing the server caused the stats system to update and serverstat to correct. The delayed credits should now be posted; please let us (or susato) know if not.

In the mods' WU db I do not see credits for any of the three WU cited in the last two posts, nor the one reported by tmossman01, nor those reported by 314159. Current time 08:14 EDT = 05:14 PDT = 12:16 UTC

Moreover, no results have been returned for the succeeding generations of these WU, suggesting that these trajectories are still stalled and may need to be restarted by the researchers.

Terminou, the points you acknowledged above probably come from this other unit:

Hi [Inpact]Terminou (team 51),
Your WU (P6012 R0 C197 G221) was added to the stats database on 2010-07-21 16:09:39 for 2756.08 points of credit.
Edited to add a few more for the record, from posts in the "Problems with a specific WU" thread:

poiuyut: Project: 6702 (Run 2, Clone 3, Gen 15)
Slythern: Project: 6701 (Run 19, Clone 24, Gen 28)
Datsun 1600: Project 6701 (Run 66, Clone 32, Gen 7)
tzutzy: Project: 6701 (Run 42, Clone 34, Gen 18)

The PG has fixed the server problem and the recredits are on their to-do list.
