Mods - please post notice of when the 5801's have been pulled. All my cores have been shut down by either EUE limit or unstable machine errors, so I'll have to restart them all manually once the coast is clear.

Well ... if I wouldn't care, the 10th post in this thread wouldn't have been saying that I sent a message to Pande Group ... but I believe I did so : viewtopic.php?p=64542#p64542

On this point, I have to agree with you ... I don't know where these WU comes from (I guess it's a clone project of p5800 with different simulation settings), but something has been wrong in the testing process, and assuming they would run as fine as original project was wrong :(

You may try to restart now. I've got 5506 on all mine now, but the 5801's may still come through. At least they seem to assign a mix of WU's.

toTOW..... I agree that YOU have done YOUR job....
However, it seems that someone at PandeGroup/Stanford has not yet Pulled the 5801s out ....
I am just a Folder here, but I think pulling the WUs for the moment is the solution until the issue has been resolved.

Currently with the combination of the issues with the 1.15 Core and the nVidia drivers and -advmethods settings/5800 we all seem to be on needles here.....
I look at all the teams, and productions in general have dropped tremendously for all teams with heavy GPU investments.... It's not just the points... it's the Science and Humanity that suffers here

FWIW

I too was getting 5801s with the immediate 7a core error and the 24 hour wait message even after restarting the client numerous times. (using 8800GT @ stock on Vista 32-bit)

I deleted the contents of the work folder as well as queue.dat and unitinfo.txt. (I didn't have any finished WUs waiting to be uploaded)

Started client up and immediately got assigned a 5506 from a different server and it's running fine now.

Nice. Restarted all 7 GPU's now. Got 5506 and 5800 wu's. Hopfully this ends 4 days of low folding due to server problems.
