And this is all I get so far:
I've done all kinds of troubleshooting. It seems like FAH itself is having the problem resolving DNS.

I've checked all firewall permissions, both on the Firewall and the local.

I also tried a downgrade to 8.3.17 and it still had the same issue.

I didn't see any solution in the forums except people being told to get on the beta and this version 8.4.9 was the beta and most current build I could find..

Change your DNS to anything but cloudflare

Not using Cloudflare I am using the default FIOS one.

It resolves in cmd.

Is there a command for the config to give it a specific DNS? I am willing to use the google one at this point

Also other machines on the same network, are working and able to get data.

Google one should work, and there is no commands to assign specific DNS for client

But still FAH can not connect?

It probably is. Go to GitHub and search for fahclient-bastet. Search the issue list for DNS related topics (open and closed), and mention your experience in one of the issues related to DNS, please. Dev will have a look into it

You are storing your client data to a drive called S:\ ... what is it ?

A friend found a strange workaround on Linux for this, so you might want to try it on Windows too. Find the gpus.json file in s:\ProgramData\FAHClient and delete it. Then restart the client (or reboot the whole system).
