WU & Points missmatch

Post by DoctorBob »

This is not a big issue, more of a curiosity.

I noticed that there is a missmatch in donor statistics between my Folding@Home Donor Statistic page:
https://stats.foldingathome.org/donor/id/1055290
  • 913,053 points earned
    267 WUs completed
and what I see in my Folding@home Client web interface page which shows:
  • 422,839 points earned
    107 WUs completed
I am currently running Folding@home Client v8.3.18.

Is there a way to get my Folding@home Client to show my true statistics as shown in the above url?

If you have a passkey set, web control will only show points for your username + passkey.

The main stats page will show all points for a given username, regardless of passkeys.

Thank you calxalot for your quick reply to my query.

Yes, when I upgraded from version 7 to version 8 I went from using a username + password to using a username + passkey.
So my statistics of "422,839 points earned and 107 WUs completed" is my version 8 statistics.

I guess there is no way of importing the version 7 (password) WU & Points over to version 8 username + passkey?

v7 also would be using a passkey, only use of a password in the client is for network connections if you set it up to monitor and control other local systems. Did you get a new passkey when you installed v8?

P.S. v7 also would only display stats for a single username and passkey pair in the Web Control.

Looking at my Accounts Settings (https://v8-3.foldingathome.org/account).
I see that I have both a passkey and a Token.

I had a look at my notes for v7 installation and I see that I was using the same passkey.
So yes I am using the same passkey from V7 (no new passkey).

Sorry my mistake:
Yes, when I upgraded from version 7 to version 8 I went from using a username + password to using a username + passkey.
I should have said:
Yes, when I upgraded from version 7 to version 8 I continued using the same username and passkey.

I was getting mixed up with passkey and passphrase. My password in V7 is different then the passphrase in v8.
