Are there certain projects that are exclusive to Nvidia or AMD gpus?

Wondering if there are certain projects that only get assigned to AMD gpus and then others that only get assigned to Nvidia? Or can pretty much all of them run on anything? I know AMD cards generally bring in significantly lower points, but thought it might be good to add an AMD card if it lets me participate in more projects. Thanks.

The only exclusivity is between CPU and GPU projects. GPU projects could run on anything that supports CUDA or OpenCL.

Some projects are not assigned to some GPU when they won't run efficiently on it ...

Thanks for the reply, so really no particular advantage to running AMD cards.
