I know F@H purpose is peer computing power, however it would be cool to be able to cast my earnt points from my earlier teams to my current team.
For instance when I first started I earnt points under "Default" and then I earnt some more under my business name. It would be nice to move them to my current team and have them all consolidated for a single team.
This will mean the default team will rightly so lose some points. It will also mean that because my business name team will end up with zero points, it will cease to exist. Tidying up the overall number of teams.
And to make programming this suggestion easier, I can only cast an entire teams worth of points to another team I'm already in. It's not about splitting points across any random team.

Re: Casting Team Points to Another Team (suggestion)
This is very unlikely to happen. The researchers made the policy decision back at the beginning of F@h the points once credited to a user and/or team would not be altered. Just removing the points from a team would not cause it to cease to exist. The proposal has been made many times since then to allow moving points, it hasn't been considered.
However they have zeroed out some teams and users for violations of the terms of use. That includes a team about 12+ years ago which embedded the F@h software into another app download complete with user/team settings already set for them. That nearly got the F@h software marked as malware at the time, it was an unauthorized installer.
