Hi guys.
I've just recently got an AMD RX 7900 XT and have beening using it for F@H.
But when i looked why i wasn't getting any bonus points, i found how out how to check and it shows the following:
WUs Finished / WUs Expired / % Finished / Bonus Active
3531 / 3114 / 53.14% / False
even though i have "181,581,163 points by contributing 3,560 work units". my username is "Navik_Shah".
and also don't really understand why the percent finished is so low.
Is it possible someone could help me/ provide a little more insight into the situation.
Thanks in advanced.
No bonus

Re: No bonus
I know of at least 2 rules for bonuses:
I do not suspect you of having less than 10 Work Units on this PC
I suspect you have less than 80% of Work Units completed successfully
I do not suspect you of having less than 10 Work Units on this PC
I suspect you have less than 80% of Work Units completed successfully

Re: No bonus
What that is telling you is that your system has downloaded a total of over 6600 WUs, but only returned successfully 3500+. If this occurred recently evidence will be found in your log files. The Welcome topic includes this post on how to find the logs under Windows - viewtopic.php?p=327412#p327412. There is a folder of older logs as well, 16 by default for the v7 client.
If you find an error you do not understand, post that section of log file along with the initial 100 or so lines that show your hardware and software configuration.

Re: No bonus
In short, either you have failed to finish a lot of work units, or they have dumped due to failure. If you don't use HFM or check your logs, you could potentially have a lot of errors you have never known about. Depending on how long you folded on your older gear, it's possible that they happened just enough that they continued to issue.
Stability is key to folding, so the bonus only applies if your percentage of completed work units is above 80%. This is well below what most people will have if they are running a stable system.

Fold them if you get them!

Re: No bonus
I cannot comment on the 7900 XT, but I had an issue with my 6800 XT, 6900 XT and 6700 XT once. I was trying to find an efficient way to fold, and I did set my "Core" settings too low in Afterburner. Even if it did run fine for hours or days, I ended up having a lot of "BAD_WORK_UNITS" or "UNKNOWN ENUM" errors in my logs at one point. Every time you get one of these errors, your PC sends back the results and dump the unit (even if it was completed) and as such, it adds to your expired units and you don't get points.
If you're back to folding after a long "wait" and used to have a lot of "expired" work units for some reason, you should create a new passkey so that you can start over when it comes to your Finished percentage. After 10 succesful work units and as long as you keep a 80% finished ratio, you'll get your bonus. It will still fold under your name and add towards your total points, but you'll see a second line in your bonus stats so your previous ratio won't affect your new one.
If you still fold on another PC using some subpar hardware, it does count towards your bonus too (or lack thereof) and as such, I suggest creating a new passkey for your PC with the 7900 XT.
