I don't know.

I checked with the MacOS Microsoft Remote Desktop 10.7.0 (1933) app now, and indeed it works. I locked the session and closed down the app, and the Windows machine keeps starting new WUs as normal.

I'm fairly certain that I did the same thing before, and it didn't work, but if it didn't work in the past, at least it works now.

And if you're running Windows, you still have to run all GPUs from a single logged-on user. (blame Microsoft)
