What are all the acronyms and what is important to understand about credits?
My web FAH dashboard says Points Earned: 6.551.332, 5,464,642 got to team, total of 5,457,127. What does all that mean? If not all of the points go to them team, where do they go? Why are there 3 separate numbers show?
What does PRCG mean, specifically when it is of the form PRCG 14432 (0,1874, 34)
What is a Base Credit and What is an Estimated Credit. Why do some pieces of work give such larger credits than others?
Why do some of my slots see to hang out in 'Download' for a while? Is there not enough work to be doled out?
Is there a good overview of the client and how to understand it more?
I have searched for this but beyond the wiki (which does not really cover any of this), coming up empty.

When you turn in a Work Unit, those points go to whatever team you have selected right then, and stay there. If you have no team selected, then those points are not assigned to any team.wijo432 wrote:What are all the acronyms and what is important to understand about credits?

A work unit is assigned a base credit assuming you return it at the deadline. If you have a PassKey, you can earn a Quick Return Bonus for getting the results turned in before the deadline. If your PC is quick enough this can be substantial. When your WU completes F@H will estimate your credit including the QRB, but you have not yet returned that WU. If it takes a long time to upload you may earn less Bonus.

Work units vary in how much Science the4y do, so the points vary as well The researchers goal is to reward science equally in the base credit, and then reward being quick.
Since 3/13, we experienced a 10 to 1 growth in volunteers returning WUs, however the servers did not have 10 times more ability to hand out WUs. That is pretty close to being resolved now, but there have been times when we spent 2/3 of the time waiting for work, 1/3 of the times doing work.
