Only other thing to mention, if your ASA firewall blocks HTTP or HTTPS traffic if it is not from a "known" browser like Firefox, IE, Chrome, etc., then you will need to add an exception for the FAHClient part of the folding install. FAHClient uses HTTP(S) for downloading and uploading over ports 8080 (preferred) or 80. Some blocking software already has exceptions for FAHClient, but most do not.

Any error messages in the Log tab? I suspect that you'll see a lot of "Cannot find WU for this configuration", which is a common error due to the very high demand at the moment. It should clear up in the next several days once more servers are online and more work gets added into the queue.

I have the following message in my logs that have repeated more than 30 times...
WUs available for this configuration
21:05:37:WU00:FS00:Connecting to 18.218.241.186:80
21:05:37:WARNING:WU00:FS00:Failed to get assignment from '18.218.241.186:80': No WUs available for this configuration
21:05:37:ERROR:WU00:FS00:Exception: Could not get an assignment

Is there something wrong locally or is this due to the high demand on the servers?

That's it, that's due to the high demand on the servers. So many new volunteers that we are all consuming the available work faster than it can be generated. They're expanding the servers and adding more work, so keep everything running and it should pick up work when it can.

Good problem to have, but don't want to miss the opportunity/attention here. Anything us newbies can help with otherwise?

Just keep volunteering CPUs and GPUs! Soon we'll have some new servers online to keep up with the demand. If you'd like to help out, lurk the forums and help out when you can!
