Bad Gateway on stats page

Post by ShadowWesley »

Is anyone else getting this? I got a "Bad Gateway" message any time I tried to visit any of the stats pages. I tried on two machines on two different networks, and even on my phone.

I started folding again (after 8 years) after seeing a tweet about the Coronavirus but stats seem to have been down for the last 20 hours as I get no further than "Bad Gateway" when trying to see how I am doing. :-(

Update: I eventually found that Extreme OC Stats are working fine, so now know how well I am doing. :-)

I am not sure in which section of the forum to report the following error.
If in the advanced graphical interface I click with the mouse on my name, the statistics page opens in the browser reporting this error: Bad Gateway

Tried to check there too but couldnt find my team.

Seems they use old outdated data if I am not mistaken.

From EOC FAQ:

Q: Why isn't my team's stats listed?
A: I only process teams with a rank of 6,000 or better. When your team reaches that point they are automatically added.

The data is current for the teams they have but not all teams statistics are shown on EOC.

If your team is not there then you may not be there either ... what's your team's name?

Q: Why don't we have user (individual) stats?
A: Individual stats are added when the team rank reaches at least 800. It is possible for individuals to be added sooner if the team's rank is at least 1,200 AND their rank has gone up by at least 5 spots in the last 7 days. So the more active teams get their users' added sooner.

https://stats.foldingathome.org/teams works for me.

With nothing in the search boxes, it says "loading" and after what I would call "too long" it shows the top 100 teams.

If I put my personal team number, it also takes much too long but it does show my team. Searching for team 1 (aka "Pande Lab" takes almost a minute. Apparently the activity on the database is currently very high.

Works now again,
but it is super slow.

I am a programmer, I am thinking about just making a better Website for this,
with just those txt files that F@H has for download as data source....

There are already a few of 3rd party sites. You're welcome to make another one if that suits your fancy.

The support team is aware of the overload and expects it to take some time to clear up. WIth 20 years worth of data to manage plus data from the past week to be added plus the current query activity, there's a lot to keep it busy for a while.
