This update shows unreal points and WUs for some donors (teams). Some have more, some less:

Re: Strange EOC update (12.12.17, 12pm CST)
There do appear to be problems at Stanford at the moment. That could explain some of the shortfalls in points for the last update (I too was a bit low) but doesn't explain the high ones. It does appear that Temple's servers are again communicating points to Stanford so that may have something to do with the larger amounts, but the ones I've looked at do seem higher than history would suggest. Still, it's possible the increased figures do have something to do with Temple's .219 & .220 heretofore unreported stats. Reporting the problem was a good idea and now we have to wait for someone to bring us up-to-date.
EDIT: The links that were giving me trouble at Stanford are now working. The next EOC update may shed some light.

Re: Strange EOC update (12.12.17, 12pm CST)
Some servers at Temple University have not been able to report WU points since mid November, today they resolved that issue. viewtopic.php?f=18&t=30448
So my account got 911 WUs for 1.5 million points at noon, as an example. So many points all at once may have overloaded servers so that some did not get counted until 3 PM

The low points on the noon update for some donors appear to have caught up with the latest EOC update. Whatever the problem was it was temporary.

Re: Strange EOC update (12.12.17, 12pm CST)
Looking at the server logs for the two at Temple, they had over 800,000 WU's to enter into the database. So it probably took enough time to process that some points were ready for the update that EOC pulled for Noon, and the rest were in a later update.

So these 43 mystery WUs I got at noon were actually missing since the Thanksgiving outage, or before that? Very weird.
It's completely thrown off the measurement I've been trying to do this week of weekly points generation without my usual pausing. :/

During the last couple of months, those servers (and the campus firewall) have had a variety of problems, most of which got really bad about Thanksgiving. Sometimes the servers were assigning work, sometimes not. Sometimes the results could be uploaded; sometimes not. When results were received, the points were calculated but held inside their firewall until the connection with the stats server at Stanford could be reestablished.
I like to say that FAH doesn't lose your points ... but they can be delayed significantly. Although I'm exaggerating slightly, is pretty nearly always true.
