I got WU of project 10494 and successfully done it. But the credits have not been awarded.

Hi Bruce!

Thanks for checking, but I told about WU P10494 R6 C26 G536 which was completed 2017-06-30 03:38:03 (118963 points)

That's really strange. The WU database shows that that WU was assigned to someone else at a different time and returned with an error at an entirely different time. They received partial credit because it contained an error.

This is super weird. I see an entry in our local logs (choderalab-fah2-v5.mskcc.org.CPUtime.1498795202.log) that I believe shows you should have received credit:

It could have been some sort of weird race condition where the stats server got contradictory pieces of information. We'll look into this.

So sorry for the trouble here, and thanks so much for helping out on this project!

After poking around some more, I think that record was the assignment, not the receipt. It looks like the WU was actually uploaded to a collection server (plfah1-2.mskcc.org) running the ws9 software, rather than the original work server (plfah2-5.mskcc.org) running ws8.

The log entry says:

20:50:18:WU00:FS01:Uploading 7.40MiB to 140.163.4.232

which is plfah1-2.mskcc.org.

It could be still stuck on plfah1-2, and I'm going to try to see if I can shake it loose, but I fear that it may actually that ws8 and ws9 are incompatible to act as collection servers for each other. We very recently upgraded the plfah1-* servers to ws9 and would have only started experiencing this issue then.

Again, super sorry about this. We'll get it fixed ASAP.

My apologies---I was looking at the wrong log entries! I should have been hunting for

which should have indeed been uploaded to 140.163.4.245 according to the client logs.

I've been looking through the server logs for this time period but can't see any record of this work unit being uploaded at this time. I'm rather confused as to why.

The upload took almost ten minutes, but didn't time out. Our timeout is also set to allow up to 30 minute uploads.

Thanks in advance for your patience here as we look into what went wrong.

Aha! I think I finally found a server record! I had been looking in the wrong logfile.
