Hi guys,
new folder here with an existing team. Wondered if there was anyway to get FAH working on an auto boot up? Windows 10 takes you to a log in screen when I boot my machine, will my computer start folding before it goes to desktop? What I am wanting to do is get my machine to come on automatically around 6am in a morning and start folding before I come down and start using it, but I presume Windows 10 log in will prevent it starting up until I have entered my password?
Anyone got this sorted and can point me to a guide?
Cheers!

Re: New folder, WIN 10 startup question
Just did this myself, here is the link to the MS support page:
Vista:
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/wind ... atic-logon
Windows 10 (7 and 8 are similar):
http://www.intowindows.com/how-to-autom ... indows-10/
Obviously your computer will always come on with whatever access your login has by default
[Edited to add real win 10 link]

Re: New folder, WIN 10 startup question
Hello cadmunkey, welcome to the Folding Support Forum.
rpmouton gave the better answer in most cases. Alternately, if you only fold on the CPU and not the GPU, the client may be installed as a service and will run regardless of login or not. The Windows Install Guide for FAH addresses this.

Re: New folder, WIN 10 startup question
Funny thing is, the way for Vista still worked for Windows 10
