Strange Error Messages

Post by RMouse »

What is going on with my machine here? Can anyone help me fix this? It does not stop me from folding but something wrong seems to be going on behind the scenes.
Thanks!

Sound like some trouble with some security software blocking local communication. Looks your FAHControl run on the same computer. 127.0.0.1 as IP address indicate that. Do you some local port scan at the same time ? Any other software using port 36330 on that system (which is also used by FAHControl).

You could try to configure FAHControl to use a real network address /name of that computer to cross check.

I dont understand your answer so I'll have to learn to live with this. As long as I can keep on folding I am OK.

No problem, let's start differently: please tell us more about your system: Any information about what security applications you might run ?

It might be worth upgrading to the latest client (7.4.4). IIRC the upgrade is painless and it did solve some of the comms problems.
