GTX770, Linux - < 50% utilization

It seems that a lot of GPU problems revolve around specific versions of drivers. Though NVidia has their own support structure, you can often learn from information reported by others who fold.

Yes, I read those post Nicolas, I am already experimenting with the other drivers, thanks for the headsup.

Out of interest, is there any significant difference between the 319 and 325 driver(s) when it comes to performance? Currently, I have installed 319.76, would I be better off going with 325.15 instead?

no difference ppd wise
I experienced far more "bad wus" with 319.x than with 325.15, but there may be other factors involved, so I would not be conclusive.

I see, thanks.

My card has been chewing another 9406 for a bit now, and the difference is already enormous - TPF has dropped by well over 50% (approx 9-10 minutes with 331 drivers down to around 4 min with 319). I guess it is safe to conclude that PPD will shoot up dramatically as well.

EDIT: a little more than an hour into the WU, PPD is estimated at 120k. Yay!

Since my original and follow-up questions have been resolved, this thread is solved as far as I am concerned. Big thanks to everybody who contributed :)
