change the service name

is there anyway to change how the client appears in services list? the default would show "FAH@C:+Program Files+FAH+FAH504-Console.exe" or something like that depends on where it's stored. thx heaps.

Get to the place where the FAH service is defined as described in this Wiki article (http://fahwiki.net/index.php/How_do_I_a ... ce_mode%3F). Then, instead of ImagePath, change the DisplayName value.

I don't think the client will be able to uninstall the service if you alter its name ...

If you just change the DisplayName it won't be a problem. FYI, I had to restart before it showed up in the services list with the new name.
