8056 (Run 49, Clone 29, Gen 60) - abnormally high TPF

i've been folding almost 24/7 on my notebook (i7-2670QM + GT555M) for the last 9 months,
this is the first time i've come across an unit with unusually long TFP.

usually something with base credit of 196pts shouldn't take more than 3~4hours to fold,
anyone help on this?

pls see screenshot attached:

*temperature & clock speeds are all normal in case you are wondering
*the interval on the graph is when i restarted the folding program

When dealing with extremely long TPF's (for A4's), the first thing that you look at is the task manager (process tab) to see if there is another process other than FAHCore_a4 that is using a significant amount of CPU usage (5-10% is plenty to cause this). If you do not see another process then you look at the folding log to see if the TPF's are consistent. If the times vary significantly, then it is assumed that you have an external-to-folding intermittent process that is causing havoc to folding. If TPF's are consistent, then assume a bad WU and you can kill it.

nothing is consuming significant cpu time other than Fah_corea4.exe itself.
in the past, even if i'm watching youtube & browsing the web, it never falls below 2000PPD - let alone 17PPD.

how do i go about killing the unit?

If you posted your log that would be helpful. Sometimes it is as simple as the WU having way more steps than its suppose to...

i dont really know how to read the log.
it seems to have cut off after i restarted my computer,

To delete this WU first pause folding. Then go to the Work folder (Start->All programs->FAHClient->Data Directory->Work) Delete the folder named 01. Un-pause folding. You should get a new WU.

Definitely a bad WU, the normal step count for the Project 8056 WU's I have processed is 500,000. I have reported it as a bad WU.

The WU (P8056,R49,C29,G60) has been reported as a bad WU. Note that the list of reported WUs are stopped daily at 8am pacific time.
