One of my machines is currently folding P7504 (R0, C4, G176), and is showing up in HFM with 0 credit and thus 0 PPD.
Project 7504 is no longer listed in the project summary file at http://fah-web.stanford.edu/psummary.html or http://fah-web.stanford.edu/psummaryC.html.
Is this wasted time, or is there some vestigial credit lurking?
I notice in the history of this forum section that 750x projects have been problematic in the past. How does it happen that projects not on the list are getting assigned?
Thanks!
Project 7504 not listed, thus no credit?

Re: Project 7504 not listed, thus no credit?
HFM is a 3rd party developed program and is not the authority on points assignments. Points are assigned by FAH for all projects. HFM can only report what it learns from psummary, so your second question is the important one, not the first. Under no circumstances would that make it a waste of time, even though HFM cannot estimate the points for you.
The psummary page is generated automatically from servers which are currently active. If a server is off-line, and no WUs are being distributed, it will automatically disappear from the list, only to reappear when the server is online again and WUs are being distributed.
For permanent information on all projects, go to the FAH homepage and then to Stats. Under the icon of the microscope, you'll find the Project Description containing the information you're looking for.
