Which client, OS, config to use?

It really doesn't matter what OS. Vista will do just fine. As jrweiss just mentioned make sure you get a passcode.

Thanks guys. Thanks for the offer Chris, I will let you know if I need help. In the mean time I found some basic tutorials and stuff online to help me get going.
