5771 run 6 Clone 253 gen 984

I have gotten to the end of the run gotten a message that the run was successful then an I/O error Checksum of file(work/wudata_09.xtc) read from disk doesn't match xtcfile file hash failed. Unit deleted and new iteration of same file loaded. This is on my 9800GT 512mb same unit was loaded on my 8800GS with the same result. I shut down the computer rebooted in dual boot to CHAPEL and ran the system test. No errors. Have now rebooted to XP 64 bit . Both cards are running no issues on 6604 and 5765. CPU is Phenom 720 MB is Gigabyte 790FX-UD4P drive is WD 320 RE2 Memory is Gskill 12800. Video drivers are identified as 6.14.11.5962 in windows 9800GT properties. Running SP2 for XP. I have noticed this erratically in the past but this time is the first to messup both cards. I have been able to tun some double precision seismologic software with no problems which leads me to suspect the work unit. I know other iterations of 5771 have had problems but have seen nothing posted on this variation.

Now have experienced the same issue on 5765 run 11 clone 136, gen 1060 checksum error. Corrupted 6.23? or OS?

I would love to but I am running console rather than systray. The console log only goes back about 7 hours unless there is a backdoor to get in to a file I don't know about. The issue may be moot as I have now run 6606 twice and 6602 on the 9800GT with no errors. The 8800GS has now run 6604 twice and 5772 successfully. I will keep a closer eye on this. Both are running 10107 right now.

You will find FAHlog.txt on disk (it's not what I'd call a back door), and since you have probably restarted your client after the file exceeded 50K, you'll also find FAHlog-Prev.txt.
