Have you tried the NV memory tester? Won't test the GPU, but if the GPU memory is a problem, you will know for sure if it needs to be RMAd.

No I havent, can you link it? It has something to do with F@H because GTA IV works fine for my brother when he plays.

Okay, but whats the difference? I can just double click the memory test when I have put it in the folder with the GPU files from FaH.

When you use double-click, it will open the same text window that you get when you open it manually. The real difference is that when the program ends, the double-click window closes, whereas when you open in manually, it stays open. That means you either get a chance to read the messages that are issued just before the program ends, or they just flash on the screen so quickly that you can't read them.

hit "winkey+r" type "cmd"

It'll startup the cmd prompt. Now you'll haved to use dos commands to navigatd to where you saved it... or better yet save it where the cmd prompt opens.

Then run it there by typing the name.

The first questions would be, how hot is the core running on your card, and is it full of dust bunnies?

Next question would be, have you rebooted? Windows is, on rare occasions *cough*, known to do the odd thing now and again...

Last questions would be OS, gpu driver version, and anything odd or out of the norm about your setup.

You might want to reboot NOW. One of my boxes has 2 8800GTS 512's. They ran fine- over 2000 WU's each. A few weeks ago, one of them started having on-and-off runs of EUEs. Finally, it would do nothing but EUE. I shut that client down.

A week later, the "good" card started doing the same thing. It only took a day to progress to all EUEs and make me shut it down. This looked like a good time to do a couple minor updates. After the reboot, I tried the clients one more time. Both clients took off and ran without issues. It's been a week with no issues.

This is the gateway machine for my home network, so seldom gets rebooted. That will be something I'll now do as an early step when I start seeing EUEs.
