Re: 171.64.65.98/99
I'm still getting 171.64.65.99:80 as down, and it's on a day I doubt it will be fixed very soon.

Re: 171.67.108.21 Server reports problem with unit.
The problem hasn't shown up since that day on the first GPU that I can find, but happened twice the next day on the latter GPU. And 2 GPU's going bad at once seems rather unlikely. The only other possibility is the gateway/"router", and so far I can't see any problem with that, either.

171.67.108.21 Server reports problem with unit.
I've got two older GPU's running the 6.23 GPU client. Both of them today returned the following errors from the above server: The 8800 GT: [20:28:46] Connecting to http://assign-GPU.stanford.edu:8080/ [20:28:47] Posted data. [20:28:47] Initial: 43AB; - Successful: assigned to (171.67.108.21). [20:28...

Re: server 171.64.65.64 - down -cannot get work
Just an FYI, I've been getting the same problem from the same server a few times in the last few days. It clears up eventually, but it would be nice if so many hours weren't wasted.

Re: 6055 (Run 0, Clone 34, Gen 74)
Well, this is really strange. It seems you've completed the WU twice, once for bonus points and once for no bonus. I've never seen that situation before. Depending on how and when the WUs were assigned and were returned, almost anything can happen. With conventional WUs, it's not uncommon to see th...

Re: 6055 (Run 0, Clone 34, Gen 74)
I can confirm that you didn't get bonus point for this WU : Hi Ragnar_Dan (team 2630), Your WU (P6055 R0 C34 G74) was added to the stats database on 2010-06-08 14:06:23 for 481 points of credit. Thanks. Shouldn't I have gotten bonus points? Seems so. As for the client's calling parameters, I think ...

Re: 6055 (Run 0, Clone 34, Gen 74)
Well, that I can't find any more, since every time I restart the machine every old FAHlog file is lost. But the client.cfg has the passkey in there, and it's the same one which was being backed up every 5 minutes to the flash drive since I began running A3 WU's, and it's in the ISO which the machine...

6055 (Run 0, Clone 34, Gen 74)
My machine appears to have gotten no bonus points for that WU. My Q8400 @ 3328 MHz restarted itself for some reason and after reloading the data claimed an error and decided to delete the data and start again from 0. So I restarted the machine and downclocked it by 8 MHz, and it finished the WU and ...

Re: 130.237.232.140
I appear to have a problem with this server too, but not the same as others. I uploaded a WU over night and appear not to have gotten any credit for it. Re: 108.11 & 108.21 GPU servers both down
Yes it was about GPU's, but I was thinking about moving the WU's around and since I don't know much about what servers are doing what and how many are assigned to the various tasks, it just was a point of consideration I brought up to indicate my realization. I'm sure GPU's are data heavy too, espec...

Re: 108.11 & 108.21 GPU servers both down
Thinking about what I said in my post it's obvious you're right (I was forgetting about the size of SMP WU's for one thing), but there should be a way to make it so that a downed server doesn't cause disruption. Spend a few billion on SSD's, heh. ;) BTW, my WU finally went through about 57 minutes b...

Re: 108.11 & 108.21 GPU servers both down
I suppose my "perspective" was informed by the use of the terms "down for maintenance" in the headline on http://folding.typepad.com/ 's April 27 entry. Once you know a server is going to be removed, can't you move its store of WU's to a different server so that when it is offlin...

Re: 108.11 & 108.21 GPU servers both down
And because your collection server(s) all too often lack information that they should have, they reject the uploaded WU's that you allowed to go out anyway on a server you knew you were taking down.

Re: 171.67.108.21 is Reject;
Now all 3 of my GPU's have been trying to upload WU's to this server, with no success. Normally this will eventually be solved, but it should not be that this kind of thing happens so often.
