Just an FYI for everyone. My 2 GPU clients are trying to send to this server on both ports 80 and 8080.. Failing..

I might mention I have NO control over where the client goes!!!! If it looks at google to get a WU I have no way to tell it different...!! Not big WU or Advmethods..!!!

PS Sorry for the Rant it isn't a personal attack... Just cannot understand a client that is designed to auto switch that doesn't... And as Vjay say's in his blog he has switched to hired professional programmers and IT at Stanford for god's sake..!!! so why is the situation getting worse than better...

Well 2 of my GPU's just switched servers downloaded and running again..?????? JeeeeeZZZZZ....

Start the client with -configonly flag and then when you are prompted for advance settings say yes then when you see set advancemethods answer yes.

Someone Bump us to another server again Please...!!!!!!

2nd GPU client here uploaded just fine and now awaits a work unit...!!! Would love to know how to make it go to other server myself..!!

Here nothing it switched automatically on 4 of 5 of my clients the 353 wu ran and sent back then switched back to the 171.64.65.106 server. I restarted the 5th one.
Luckily the other 4 clients got bigger WU's and have a few minutes + until they re load...

Yep 1 of mine is down again looking for the same old 171.64.65.106 Server....???

Well I did have a Linux GPU client that a re boot didn't fix last week. I had to kill the power and bring it back up then it got on the download train.

HMMMMM Mine all picked up automatically except one I had to restart. I did Completely re boot in between also so might try that??

Hmmm The next thing I would do then would be to make sure your config is set for -advmethods. If that doesn't work then I would stop the client, Delete your Work Directory, queue.dat, unitinfo.txt then re start the client.
