Re: What's the most suitable GPU for this system?
I'm trying to buy a GPU since i posted this, but the prices in the market are not reasonable, even for the used old cards. (GTX 970, 1060, 1070 etc.) So i decided to replace 1660S in my main build, looking for 2060/2060S, but couldn't find a card with a fair price. I'm still looking for it but one t...

Re: Project: 14907 (Run 443, Clone 0, Gen 64)
Okay, so even after you updated to the latest version, you're unable to fold on your GPU? Can you please post the log file showing the GPU Slot after you have resumed folding on it? BTW, how is your GPU physically connected to your system: 1) Installed in a PCIe Slot on the motherboard 2) Externall...

Re: Project: 14907 (Run 443, Clone 0, Gen 64)
The only thing that caught my eye is the "bus:10" for your GPU. That seems unusual. (Maybe I'm imagining things.) How is your gpu connected to your CPU? 15:26:18: GPUs: 1 15:26:18: GPU 0: Bus:10 Slot:0 Func:0 NVIDIA:7 TU116 [GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER] 15:26:18: CUDA Device 0: Platform:0 Devi...

Project: 14907 (Run 443, Clone 0, Gen 64)
WU literally stuck at %0. I monitored the GPU, it wasn't being used, but the CPU was being utilized as if it was feeding the GPU. Paused/resumed the slot (accidentally activated CPU slot lol), stopped everything and rebooted the PC, and it still didn't progress. Dumped the WU myself after 30 mins (t...

Re: What's the most suitable GPU for this system?
Thanks for the replies. No crazy projects haha, will just slap a GPU and call it a day.
I've heard of the incompatibility but, wasn't it about UEFI? Never heard anything specific to Turing GPU's.

Re: What's the most suitable GPU for this system?
By mini PC does that mean it will only take low profile PCIe cards? If so, that will limit your choices. In addition, with a 135 W PS you will need to limit the cards to something in the GT 730 to GTX 750 or GT 1030 to GTX 1050 ranges. This will also depend on what else is in the PC. Avoid any vers...

What's the most suitable GPU for this system?
I have a mini PC laying around. I plan to add a GPU and start folding on it. Specs: ECS NM70-i2 motherboard Intel Celeron 1037U CPU (soldered) 2x2 GB DDR3 ECC I've got one of these and Xbox 360 Slim power brick (135W) as PSU: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32814603296.html What's the most powerful ...

Re: Turing Review: GTX 1660 Super and GTX 1650
Thank you guys for the replies. My card is MSI Gaming version (non-X), there is also a Gaming X version, the difference is the boost clocks. I looked up a few reviews, and put +75 on GPU clock in Afterburner to match the Gaming X version. I'm folding more than 1 month and no problems. Maybe i'll tun...

Welcome to the F@H Forum cine.chris, Please note that the Project you're getting is still in Beta (viewtopic.php?f=66&t=35045&start=15). As per the Forum rules, Non-Beta Testers will not be supported (viewtopic.php?f=16&t=8). Projects in Beta can have kinks that needs to be worked out b...

Re: Turing Review: GTX 1660 Super and GTX 1650
Edit: EVGA precision X allows for a wider range of clock control than MSI afterburner - you can take the memory clock 2x lower on precision X. Given the 1660 super has tons of bandwidth due to the gddr6, my non scientific results show that you can clock down the ram to -1000, and leave the GPU cloc...

Re: Project 13402
I also got assigned this WU. GPU is GTX 1660 Super, but this WU utilizes the hardware differenty. Usually the WUs would make the GPU draw about 110-120W. When running this one it draws max. 90W, and there is no power limit or something like that. Also this one have %70 "Copy" load when che...

Re: Turing Review: GTX 1660 Super and GTX 1650
Hey that's my card! I bought a GTX 1660 Super last month, just to start folding. It's my first GPU btw. :D I'm a newbie folder, so i didn't monitor it properly via an app, i'm just writing what i saw from the client. and just saw the HFM.net thread. But when on full power the PPD varies between* 620...
