Re: Dumped WUs don't get reassigned promptly
Since you are using v8 client, Dumped WUs are all logged to Run 0, Clone 0, Run 0 due to a long time server bug. Search returns only 15 results
If you search for any term on the board, e.g. search.php?keywords=testing, it will return only one page of results. At the top right, it says "Search found 1 match", but it returns 15 results. There are no more pages, even though there should be.

Dumped WUs don't get reassigned promptly
Hello. I noticed that none of the WUs that my client has dumped have been marked as such on apps.foldingathome.org/wu , nor have they been reassigned. For example: Project 18498 (Run 61, Clone 31, Gen 72) This was dumped due to an error, on 2025-05-19 at 15:54:39: 15:51:32:I1:WU2:Project: 18498 (Run...

Re: Fold coin
The various folding-related "coin" programs are entirely opt-in, and (as others explained) F@H has absolutely no involvement with managing them. F@H neither endorses nor denounces them. People opt in to these programs by following whatever convention the program has for designating members...

Re: 128.252.203.2 Received short response
I just successfully uploaded to this server on one of my other clients (different location and connection). So either it's been fixed or it is/was an issue with my other client. The weird thing is, that client has been uploading fine to every other server, so I don't know why it would have problems ...

Re: 128.252.203.2 Received short response
Apparently they did successfully upload, according to the WU status page. This could be related to a possible bug in 7.6.21 (as that is the client version I'm using) discussed here: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=36402 . Or it could be a server issue. I doubt it's an issue with my connection because other...

Re: 155.247.166.219 sent 1.5 year old WU [Project 14188]
I will note though that none of the WUs in this thread have shown up as newly completed on the status page yet. In case this indicates another server that's getting stuck with the stats.

Re: 155.247.166.219 sent 1.5 year old WU [Project 14188]
I have absolutely no problem with it, I'm just pointing it out to the operators because it looked weird, in case it indicates a problem.

Getting reruns of old 14188 WUs
I've been assigned (and have completed) a couple of WUs from project 14188 which apparently were previously completed in late 2019 (according to the WU status page): 2021-01-18 16:20:09Z - project:14188 run:2 clone:582 gen:0 2021-01-19 17:07:51Z - project:14188 run:3 clone:854 gen:1 Both were assign...

Re: Isn't it time to tune down on COVID-19 projects?
If running older cores is "unpopular" with some users then excuse my language, but tough shit. It's science all the same. If people get salty because finishing projects means running slower cores, then they're kind of missing the point. Though would it not make sense to adjust the points t...

Re: Isn't it time to tune down on COVID-19 projects?
This also won't be the last coronavirus we'll ever see, so learning more about it can inform how we deal with others too.
