Yeah that is a flaw in how I had the WS set up. I should just not let it assign to 7 or 14-CPU systems; that's kind of inherent to how the job works that those numbers wouldn't work. Thanks for posting about this. The problem should be fixed on the WS and that shouldn't happen anymore.

All I can say is that my new work server is almost ready for the big time and going to be launched in the next couple of days, and so after that a bunch of these problems should be alleviated. Thanks for keeping me up to date with these problems, and for your patience.

So it looks like for the time being gbowman has enough CPU jobs on brodgar (128.252.203.2) that I can stop assigning and get everything in much better shape without losing your guys' ability to get jobs. I'll let you know more updates as they happen.

So it appears that there was a hidden variable in my WS that was limiting how many jobs could be open and uploaded at once.
