Re: DAB & transparicy
Donors that are that concerned with optimizing their purchases might do well to watch the results of other scientific projects rather than leaving their F@H blinders on. It's been pretty clear for years that GPU computing has enormous potential. As a recent example, in early October, the HCC projec...

For information, some of my p8018 were given 5757 points and some were given 6333. Weird.

The log you posted only start from 15:44:57. You have to post the log surrounding 15:15:19-UTC as stated by Bruce.bruce wrote:...If you can locate an older log showing the events surrounding 2011-12-01 15:15:19 UTC, please post it so we know what happened.

Re: PG announcement about Big Advanced Projects
Those 12 threads machines are hardest hit. Wonder if it is feasible to have a BA12 for p6900 class with preferred deadline to 2 days. Then BA16 for 2684 class (2 days) and 6903 class (3.5 days) and 6904 class (4.5 days). 12 threaded machines are already considered as niche market marchines with sign...

Re: PG announcement about Big Advanced Projects
Would be highly appreciated if you can announce the new deadlines asap. TQ.VijayPande wrote:.....but as before, the key determining issue will be making the deadlines (especially since some people often spoof the number of cores the client detects anyway).....

Was the GPU card driver updated recently? Try an older driver, before 169... something.

Re: Can't upload results: 130.237.232.237
I managed to upload a 6903 about 18hr ago at my normal 320kbps, but when downloading, it is like <100kbps and after about 15min it just hung. I checked Server Stats and Net Load of this server was only 2 during that time. So I folded 2 smp and 6hrs ago download a 6901 from this server at 900kbps. I ...

Re: P6900 which 70% of the time until deadline but no bonus
Thank you for your reply and I understand that things can go wrong on servers as on the donor side. I have now just lost a Project: 6904 (Run 2, Clone 0, Gen 14), who had come to 86%. The reason the event is this: [10:33:14] core status = 8B (139) [10:33:14] Client-core communications error: ERROR ...

Re: P6988 (R0, C71, G124)
Most posts with the same message ended with error. But in my case it completed with Core Status=64(100) and I got points from it. Does it means that WU has recovered from the error? Or I have submitted a corrupted WU?

Re: 130.237.232.141 (P6900 unable to upload)
For the past one week, I almost always get time out while receiving payload from 130.237.232.141. It is downloading at only 10% of the download speed as compare to receiving from 171.xxx.xxx.xxx. It is so slow that most of the time downloading is hung half way through. Checked server status, "N...
