There is a (new?) phpBB feature which is only activated when you make a new post or when you edit your own post and only if others have posted while you were composing your post, I think it has a bug.

I wrote a post. I edited that post. When I clicked SUBMIT, two more posts had been added and I read them. I'm not sure if I clicked SUBMIT a third time or not.

My post is now missing entirely.

There's a newer version of phpBB but I don't know if this bug is fixed or not. It's obviously a pretty obscure bug.

See: The requested post/topic doesn't exist. I suspect that that has something to do with your complaint.

Nope. In my case, the topic still existed.
