CPU WU Points Value

Points for CPU workloads seriously need to be adjusted. I'm spending a lot of energy/heat on processing the WU and not getting even 10% of the value from GPU WU. 5700x3d vs RTX 4060 6gb. 160k vs 2.7m
There needs to be better incentive for CPU WU. I understand that using F@H is a personal choice and that the points don't mean anything, but for the energy cost and heat production, it's not worth it for my lizard brain to see such a small number on the CPU.
Please don't tell me to not use CPU. Obviously I know I don't have to use it. I want to use it, but I want to see more points for the energy/heat generation.

Don't use the CPU

Proposal has been submitted in regards to CPU PPD to FAH royalty, and was refused. It is what it is

But really, if points don't matter, why is anyone in need of points?
CPU folding is just as important, and if points don't matter a person's contribution is still greater, points or not. I see it as similar to a passkey, but at least that makes sense because most people use it, and it gives me (or anyone else) an easy metric to compare hardware.
I still CPU fold now and then, and my CPU doesn't even approach 10% of my GPU. But I also fold with limited cores so my wife doesn't tell me that "the computer is making a funny noise" like she does when I use all available cores and the fan ramps up.

CPU folding is important, but GPU folding gets more work done. Points are supposed to be roughly correlated with the amount of scientific progress that's being made. It's not just an arbitrary incentive to contribute. Getting more points from CPUs would disincentivize GPU folding.

In regards to disincentivizing GPU folding, if we continue at the rate we have been for the last couple weeks, we are likely to run out of WU for GPUs. I started tracking about 20 days ago and the number of jobs has dropped dramatically. We had just over 26k WU available for GPU at the start of my tracking and now have just over 11k. Average reduction in available jobs of ~750 units a day over that time. Wondering if the political situation has caused this massive drop off or just the increased number of blackwell GPUs getting out there.

Neither orange idiot, nor Blackwell sales (or complete lack of) is the cause

Sometimes it happens that projects are not being generated or not enough projects running.

Is it a lull in projects or is popularity of FAH as a resource for scientists waning?

Neither

Project availability levels move around on a regular basis, regardless of what is going on in the world beyond science. Keep in mind we as folders often have no idea how long any specific project will last, so the number could be fairly but if they run plenty of Gens of each it will take quite a while to do them all.
A returned PRCG is generating the next one in most cases.
If you read this down through the mention of the PRCG numbers it puts it in better perspective.
