7.6.21 web control points "Loading".

Tried two dif. browsers.

What could be the problem?

I do. and something is wrong.

The stats page might be slow to update. Right-click FAH systray icon, and click Advanced Control. See if that one is showing your stats

I see the same - the 'loading' as shown in the screenshots apparently just isn't loading (or showing) anything, not even after having the web control open for say half an hour. The generic stats page (stats.foldingathome.org) is fast and up to date.

On the browser console I see a couple 404's from source url http://127.0.0.1:7396/js/libs/jquery-1.10.2.min.js, but it does not show what query failed.

There have been some minor changes done to stats pages, not sure what exactly, but it is possible this have broken stats retrieval through v7.
Unfortunately v7 is no longer supported, and there won't be any improvements or fixes applied to it.
If something breaks on v7 while changes were made for V8, v7 will have to live with it, unfortunately.
On another thought, if this never worked for you, maybe something on your network is blocking the connection. I'm just guessing here, since I haven't used v7 for quite some time now

It did work in the past. I don't use the web control all that often, so no idea when it broke, maybe @JEK81 can tell more.

The number of v8 releases and fixes (hence need for those fixes) still seem rather high tbh, and since v7.6.21 still works (except for this issue in the web control), I'd rather stay on v7 for now tbh. When it gets warmer again (so no need for my GPUs to heat the appartment), and I have time to change my own monitor app to make it work with v8, it's time to upgrade.

I think recent stat issues and changes have broken v7 web UI stat retrieval. I don't believe this will be fixed

That is really really sad. I believe about 4 days ago it work. I use web control just to view. This really sad cuz I like the gui to view the stats. I really love v7. I tried v8 long time ago and just do not like it. As someone claimed its happening to them too, it's not my network.

v8 long time ago is not the v8 right now

On the first start it does not fold by default.
On other starts, you can easily pause before restart. Not really sure why would anyone need flags for that?
If you rig your system to shut down after fah finished folding, and then start the system, fah will not start folding until you tell it to do so. Pause after finish now sticks to pause even after system restart

I set manual overclocks and 100% fan speed on my 3060TIFE, so its the way I prefer. Takes a sec to start fah, then i open msi afterburner, set clocks and fan speed off profile 5, the click fold.

Edit: I get around 4-5mil a day ppd.

And what does all that have to do with FAH flags?
If you pause folding before restarting your PC, FAH will not fold upon restart.
