Am I having a DNS issue or a client compatibility issue with Ubuntu?

Hi all,

I seem to be having an issue with a new deployment of v8.3.17 on a host that was running v7 without issues. I started over with a new host OS and new FAH client. No remaining bits for v7 client exist on this host. I've configured my config.xml to allow for a proxy, but my log seems to indicate a DNS issue.

If I try to troubleshoot my connection, it doesn't look like my host has an issue with resolving api.foldingathome.org.

Can you think of any other places that I could look into this? Any insight into this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

I think proxies are not supported yet in v8

Thanks for the info. I wasn't aware, but it's not big deal. I could go back to v7 or wait. I saw someone relayed this post to github.
