Hello folks
I wanted to ask if it would be possible to create the software for the Playstation 5 to use the Nvidia 3080 ?
Because the Playstation runs for hours once it is on. You should only use the GPU and only 50% of the performance. You should also be able to process a few WU's. Since there are 100 million consoles, this would be additional computing power.
Kind regards
Lasky

Re: Playstation 5
Only if Sony became interested in doing a client for PS5. But I see no sign of that, just the opposite as it has been years since they discontinued support for the PS3 folding client and they just supported an Android client for their phones for a few years ending 5-6 years ago.
P.S. The GPU in the PS5 is based on AMD's RDNA microarchitecture, not Nvidia.
