After an update, Ubuntu 22.03 stopped recognizing my Nvidia RTX 4090 and so FahCore was folding only on CPU.
I tried everything up until I decided to install from scratch Ubuntu 23.10 on a new partition. Ubuntu came with the latest Nvidia drivers (I am using the 535 tested).
I reinstalled FahCore from the Ubuntu app center and I am now back folding with the GPU, full speed.
I thought I would share my experience as I am sure I am not the only one in this case.

First install dkms, then the official nvidia drivers. dkms will make sure the drivers are recompiled with a new kernel, and you''ll need the official drivers instead of the regular ones for folding.
