Repurposing miner cards
I saw for sale locally CMP 50HX cards, based on the TU102 chip. TPU says performance is between 2080 and 2080S. Can I assume they are natively supported by fah through the nvidia driver? The no video output situation doesn't bother me as I have a small Quadro card for video output.

Re: Repurposing miner cards
Folding on CMP cards is mostly uncharted waters. There aren't any models listed on the LAR Systems GPU database.
Newer GPUs like a used RTX 4060, 3070 or 3060 Ti would be more power-efficient and would have better resale value. They would also have long term driver support. NVIDIA has dropped support for mining cards in newer driver releases in the past.

It should work ... and if the GPU is not listed, you'll have to request it here : viewforum.php?f=83
