Hi,

I have created a folding@home service solution which can be deployed on any AWS account:
https://github.com/sazecis/folding-as-a-service

If you have some credits in your AWS account or you just want to donate folding for 1 - 10 dollars then this could be a solution.
The service will deploy the necessary infrastructure in your account and then you can start the folding by specifying the amount of credit you want to spend. The folding will last until the amount of credit will be spent and then it will stop.

It sounds like a well thought out solution. At times some of the deals giving by AWS services might be a great way for someone to boost their folding throughput for periods of time.
