I've a question about points

f@h control shows I'm getting 300k to 400k points on most work units but when I check EOC after they update the stats I'm only getting about 25% to 30% of the points. F@H on the web the same points as control on my computer. I have 2 computers this is happening to.
Any idea why this is happening?

Welcome to the folding support forum.
If you have just started folding see the entry in the Points FAQ about Qualifications for the QRB -
https://foldingathome.org/support/faq/points/. To summarize, the bonus is only given after completing 10 WUs and maintaining an 80% return rate.
The client software can only calculate the estimated points and PPD based on the presence or absence of a passkey. It does not query the database to see if the username and passkey combination has been qualified for the bonus.
If you want to check the bonus status for your username and passkey that can be done here -
https://apps.foldingathome.org/bonus.

My passkey is fine. This has been going on for about 2 months.
I've been folding for years but this has been happening ever since I started using these 2 new computers about 2 months ago.
I'm just wondering why would there be such a big difference between what f@h control says I should get for points and what shows up on EOC. Any help would be great.

What does your bonus status look like using the app I provided a link for? Can you provide some examples from your log file of WUs being uploaded and the estimated points shown there versus what shows on EOC? I see differences from the estimates, but usually of less than 10 points. Exceptions have been for WUs that were delayed in being uploaded, or had other problems during uploads.

The latest update shows I turned in 2 work units for s total of 230839 points.
I don't know what the other computer turned in for a work unit.
I hope this helps.

If you could post the first 100 lines of your log file which show your hardware and client configuration that would help. Also helpful is the Project, Run, Clone and Gen of the returned WUs.

Are you accounting for the time difference to the EOC website?
And even if you are, I've had returns show up at the next update on EOC, even though they showed on the F@H page well before a time cutoff.
It does seem strange though, unless the EOC numbers somehow line up to base credits.

I have looked at your log, it is missing the first few lines so the date of creation is not included. It is consistent with the beginning of a log right after installing the folding software, the folding slots for CPU and GPU have been set up but there is no entry for username, team or passkey. That will show up later in the log after they are set and include lines like this:
Code: Select all
06:25:37: <!-- User Information -->
06:25:37: <passkey v='*****'/>
06:25:37: <team v='deleted'/>
06:25:37: <user v='deleted'/>
Doing some further lookup, do you fold as user 'Dobson' or something else? For user Dobson I see all recent WU returns have not received the bonus, though the one passkey associated with Dobson is qualified for the bonus. Sometimes this comes from entering an invalid passkey, check for leading or trailing blank spaces or a truncated passkey from not copying and pasting the full 32 character hexadecimal passkey. You can verify what is entered for your passkey by opening up the config.xml file in a text editor, look for spaces between the single quote marks and the beginning or end of the passkey.

I put a new passkey into both computers. I'll give it a few days and see what happens.
Thank you all for your help.

I have a new passkey and did a little copy and paste and the points are way up.
Thanks again to everyone for your help.
