Finally getting WU for GPU but GPU won't work

Finally got a WU for my GTX 2060 but:

The last two lines are from after setting opencl-index to 1 manually. Ubuntu Linux. (then a "too many errors: failing" after a few more of them) What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

It looks like OpenCL is not installed or at least not detected. The best I think is to check your configuration against what is recommended here: https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/10 ... lding-rig/

Thanks. I followed the instructions pretty much slavishly and after a bit of waiting I have both a CPU and a GPU work unit running most of the time with no apparent problems. Exhaust air from top of computer case seems to be keeping under 40C so I think I'm not overheating anything (couldn't get sensors to be detected; maybe this cheap hardware doesn't have them although the BIOS does at least give CPU temperatures).
